About the Role

We’re looking for iOS Engineers to join either of these cross-functional teams:

Investment - As part of the Investment team, you will design and develop Investment features within our iOS app using Swift. You will write tests, integrate with our in-house design system, and fetch data through our backend API. Help us achieve our vision to make investing delightfully easy and understandable for our clients and prospective clients!

Growth - As part of the Growth team, you will build A/B testable features to grow product adoption among existing clients and to attract new clients. The team uses short projects and fast iteration to gather insights across the entire suite of Wealthfront products, which we use to form new hypotheses. The team is highly responsive to new insights and product launches and moves quickly to address high-leverage opportunities.

As a core member of the team, you will:

• Build a world-class, 4.8 star rated, native iOS application using UIKit and programmatic layouts. We also support only the most recent 2 iOS versions (iOS 14 and 15), so engineers can use the latest and greatest APIs. Best of all, our codebase is 82% Swift and all new code is written in Swift.
• Write unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests against our integration server to validate functionality and provide confidence when making changes.
• Benefit from a guided onboarding experience so you can quickly get up to speed with our codebase.
• Use and update our in-house design system components to accelerate UI development.
• Work closely with other platform engineers, designers, and product managers to ship delightful features.

This role could be a fit if you have:

• 1 or more years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency with Swift or Objective-C.
• Interested in Test-Driven Development. Experience writing automated tests is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A desire to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• BS or MS in computer science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
