About the Role:
As a Senior Staff-level Software Engineer working at Manifold, a large portion of your time and energy will be focused on transitioning the study management team of a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization from their 1990s-era application to a brand new application built for 2022 and beyond. Along with the leadership team at Manifold, you’ll partner directly with this customer to ensure the work we do helps them manage their participants with ease and saves them time (and money!).
Our project teams are made up of engineers, program managers, designers, and product managers. We are highly collaborative, oriented towards building and learning, and keenly aware of the responsibility of helping our customers deploy software products for real end users.
What We’re Looking For:
This is a Senior Staff-level opportunity and we are seeking candidates with 7+ years of relevant, professional experience. However, experience does not always equal expertise so reach out if you can say ‘yes’ to most of these bullets:
- You have previously owned a product through its lifecycle— from discovery to deployment.
- You have experience building and orchestrating ETL pipelines using tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
- You have developed a backend server or API using Python
- You are familiar with data warehousing and data warehousing tools (e.g. Snowflake)
- You are comfortable with infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms, e.g. AWS or Azure
- You have worked in CI/CD environments and understand scalable deployment and operational management approaches
