We are looking for an excellent Software Engineer to join our talented full-stack engineering team. As a software engineer you will contribute to product initiatives, help operate the service and advance our engineering systems. For this you will be designing and implementing high quality solutions across the stack. This can include a wide variety of tasks, such as improving the trading algorithms, writing DB migrations or implementing REST end-points, just to name a few. Depending on your interest you can also get into the frontend or the infrastructure code. You will be working closely together with fellow engineers, product owners, designers and the client support team. Your responsibilities
- Work with product owners and designers on spec'ing delightful features
- Drive technical designs, implement them with high quality and ensure a smooth release
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions to foster individual and team growth
- Respond to livesite alerts and client support inquiries to ensure high quality of service
- Take ownership of components and business domains over time
Your profile
- Solid foundation as a software engineer, engineering degree or similar
- Several years of experience with Java or another general-purpose programming language
- Experience working with designers and product owners
- Team player, reliable and accountable, with a curious and open mind
- Fluency in English
- Based in or around Zürich (we offer help with relocation). Hold or be eligible for a work permit in Switzerland
Following are a plus, but not required:
- Business domain knowledge from finance, trading, portfolio management or accounting
- Experience with TypeScript and React
- Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes
