At Treecard, we see climate change as the biggest challenge of the 21st century, and we want to do something about it. We are building a suite of products that allows anyone to easily make an impact.

Our first product is a wooden debit card that plants trees as you spend. We’ve signed up over 160,000 people to our waiting list for Treecard, and are live with a small beta.

Our plan to launch a full suite of products centered around impact. This includes financial products such as impact investing and a credit card, as well as pure impact products like carbon tracking through your transactions and sustainability commitments.

We are partnered with Ecosia, the search engine that has planted over 130M trees to date and has over 30M monthly active users. We've just closed a $24mn Series A, and are backed by Valar Ventures, EQT, World Fund, and Seedcamp.

THE ROLE 🤩

We are hiring for mobile engineers to join us across the business, both to work on our Finance team and our Impact team. You will be working on an agile, fully distributed team, helping to ship features on our React Native app. You will be delivering a product that is a core part of our customer’s financial lives, and used daily by hundreds of thousands of these customers.

Our finance team is responsible for the core features of Treecard, including things like spending, transfers, withdrawals, and topping up money. Concurrently, you will help us build out new financial products like budgeting, savings accounts, and a credit card.

Our impact team is focuses on helping our users visualize, understand, and relate to their impact. This includes things like our Impact Centre, Tree Valley, and Rewards. As the core reason that many Treecard’s users are here, you will be responsible for ensuring that these features are engaging and informative.

As one of the earliest employees, you will have a huge amount of responsibility over the product and company, and and will be empowered to make decisions that drive Treecard forward.
