Airtime is the user research platform for product teams who want to continuously learn about their users and make better products. We are a Berlin-Budapest based startup. We have recently closed a funding round and we are growing the team.

We are looking for mid to senior level software engineers with 3-5+ years of experience developing production SaaS applications. Airtime is in early closed beta with lots of new development ahead of us. You will be one of the founding engineers with great influence on product & architecture. 

On an average day, you will:

• Work with vanilla JS, React, Node, and SQL across the entire application stack.
• Write unit, integration, and e2e tests
• Work with AWS infrastructure and services
• Participate in the design, planning, and grooming of product features and bring new ideas
• Review code and ensure high quality standards
• Work closely with the business and learn a lot about how a startup operates

Our ideal candidate has experience with all of the above in a professional production environment. We will consider excellent candidates If you have not done all of it but you have a strong drive to learn quickly. 

Additional challenges for senior level candidates:

• Take ownership of complex technical projects and lead the planning, estimation, and execution of functional and non-functional epics
• Guide the design and architecture of our AWS infrastructure and DevOps tooling
• Set standards for QA and code reviews
• Implement best practices to increase efficiency, output, and quality for the entire team.
• Working with IaC (Cloudformation) and CI/CD pipelines
• Implementing enterprise level NFRs (a11y, i18n, privacy, security, availability, scalability).

Compensation

Mid level - EUR 40.000 - 50.000 / year total compensation

• HUF 900.000 - HUF 1.100.000 / month base salary
• EUR 10.000 - 22.500 in equity and annual bonus

Senior level - EUR 50.000 - 70.000 / year total compensation

• HUF 1.100.000 - HUF 1.300.000 / month base salary
• EUR 15.000 - 32.500 in equity and annual bonus

The position is full-time and based in Budapest. The primary language of our business is English. Fluent written and spoken English are required.
